February 10 — Today, the Department of Interior and Local Government awards Cavite the Seal of Good Housekeeping with DILG Secretary Jessie M. Robredo as speaker.
The Seal of Good Housekeeping is awarded to an LGU that shows good governance, sound fiscal management, transparency, and accountability.
The award was handed over to Governor Jonvic Remulla alongside the P35 million local government support fund. The amount will fund future projects around the province.
Cavite bested the other provinces the CALABARZON region as it bagged the top rank this year. Officials from the three cities and 19 municipalities in the province gathered together for this significant event.
